General Questions
What is a podiatrist?
A podiatrist is a healthcare professional who diagnoses and treats conditions affecting the feet, ankles, and lower limbs.
Do I need a referral to see a podiatrist?
In most cases, no referral is needed. You can book directly with us. If you have a referral from your General Practitioner (GP) you are eligible for a Medicare rebate on your consultation fee.
What conditions do you treat?
We treat a wide range of foot and ankle issues including heel pain, ingrown toenails, corns and calluses, fungal nails, sports injuries, diabetic foot care, and more.
Appointments & Visits
What should I expect at my first appointment?
Your podiatrist will assess your foot concern, discuss your symptoms and medical history, and create a personalised treatment plan.
How long does an appointment take?
Appointments typically last between 20–40 minutes, depending on the treatment required.
What should I bring to my appointment?
Please bring any relevant medical reports, imaging results, orthotics, and wear comfortable footwear.
Treatment & Care
Do podiatry treatments hurt?
Most treatments are pain free. Your podiatrist will always explain the procedure and ensure you’re as comfortable as possible.
Do you treat children and seniors?
Yes, we provide podiatry care for patients of all ages.
Can you help with sports or running injuries?
Absolutely. We assess biomechanics, gait, and footwear to help treat and prevent sports-related foot injuries.
Orthotics & Footwear
Do you provide custom orthotics?
Yes, we assess and prescribe custom orthotics when clinically appropriate.
Do I need orthotics for my condition?
Not everyone does. Your podiatrist will recommend orthotics only if they’re beneficial for your specific needs.
Fees, Insurance & Payments
Do you accept health insurance?
